About Me

It’s amazing how just one moment in life can change everything.  For me, that was June 3rd, the day my daughter was born.

But as I began chatting with other new moms I got the overwhelming sense that most didn’t have an empowering birth experience.  That realization kindled a deep passion to support and encourage others.  Every woman should have a motivational birth story.  And my goal is to help you have the best one possible.

In addition to being a birth doula, I hold a BSc in Biopsychology from UBC and a post-baccalaureate diploma in Gerontology from SFU.  I competed internationally in Track and Field, have coached other athletes, and provided personal fitness training to many others.  I love seeing people realize their full potential!

I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my husband and daughter while we run, hike, swim, play at the beach, dance, read, spend time with our friends and family, eat good food and travel.
